Post Tracker 4x4.

I have had my 2000 Tracker 4x4 for about a month now. Today
I had to use the four wheel drive high. It isnt loud, but it makes
like a whining sound when in four wheel high. The four wheel drive
works good, anyone elses Tracker sound like that in four wheel
drive high?

Thanks.

I've only used 4Wheel Hi once and that was just to get up on a high curb, otherwise 4 wheel low works fine. I haven't noticed any whining noises out of the ordinary. Could just be the front differential you're hearing. The Tracker isn't exactly the most quiet of vehicles.
