Headlight bulb replacement

I have a 96 VW Passat and I can't seem to find how to replace the low beam bulb on the right front. Anyone know how the bulb is removed?

Re: Headlight bulb replacement

Has anyone been able to help you with this? I have a 2001 1.8T and the turbo charger is blocking the access to it and I would rahter not move that.

After you remove the headlight assembly, you can remove a cover to get to the bulb ...... according to the factory shop manual. By the way, to remove the headlight assembly, you need to remove the radiator grill and trim piece covering the lower headlight fasteners. Enjoy!
