Kragen
Autozone
Pepboys
Napa
Try any local source, they may surprise you.
O'Conner in Santa Clara is a Moss distributer and shipping usually takes only one day (at no extra charge).

I have never been there. I have ordered parts from them. They have free shipping so it has never been worthwhile for me to drive to their store. Their web address is www.oconnerclassics.com
phone number is 1(888)346-3647
address is 2569 Scott Blvd. Santa Clara
If you don't have one, go to www.mossmotors.com and request a catalog (it helps in figuring out what you need and there are some helpful technical articles).
www.VictoriaBritish.com is a another good catalog.
I don't order directly from either one because I have found that I can get betters prices from Moss distributers.
ProperMg is another good mail order place, but they are located on the east coast so shipping takes while (check out their web site)
ebay can be a good source.
Sears and Harbor Freight are good sources for tools
What did you need? Let me know, I may be able to direct you to the best place. What I have posted is just a short list of places that I know of. I also know of places for specific parts, new and used.

shadetree motors in livermore is an awesome moss distibutor. the guy who runs it is named skip and he runs the bussiness out of his house. i have gone over to pick up parts a few times and he is always very friendly and usually has a good amount of parts in stock. if you google "shadetree motors" their website should pop up with the address and phone number. like i said, they, or he, is the best place that i have found for mgb parts.
