Does anyone have any experience towing the S10? Manual tranny.
I want to flat tow maybe with blue ox system or roadmaster.

Manual tranny should be alright towing in neutral. Gear assy rotates through standing oil in the case. Auto trans can be a problem. The rear wheels drive the trans output shaft rotating gear assys without adequate lubrication. Auto trans are lubricated by pumped hydraulic fluid. The hydraulic pump is driven by the torque converter which doesn't rotate until the engine does.

Apparantly you haven't tried towing a dodge lately. Their manual transmissions have an internal oil pump that has to be turning too. I've seen a few fried because of towing

Your always best to look in the owners manual before you tow any car with the drive shafts in place, and where to tow from.

Besides some newer automatics can be towed with their drive shafts in place now, so why remove it if you don't have too.

Get a flat bed to tow you.

Unless you have a 2wd where they can lift up the back and have the front on the pavement.
