Please help! big dude1 11-17-2004, 12:16 AM are they too small or too big? if theyre too small... are you sure the stocks are 6x9s? 01Cavy 11-17-2004, 06:55 PM Yes the stocks are 6x9. You willl have to cut the tin to get a flush fit. I'm going to have to do the same for my 3-way 6x9s jayson716 11-17-2004, 09:15 PM well what i have done was mounted mine on the rear deck which is going to be fiberglassed soon so the sony explodes i bought are showing. looks good. cavispeedracer 11-18-2004, 06:54 PM thanks guys...... i took a grinder and ripped the stock holes up and got them a lot bigger. Then I drilled holes and screwed the speakers right in...... too bad the carpetting top touches the speakers... i think im going to have to cut 2 holes in the carpetting thing and then mount the speaker covers on that. Seanscho 11-18-2004, 11:47 PM I installed a pair of Audiobahn 6x9's, and instead of going through the top, I drilled them onto the bottom. It required minimal cutting, and it doesn't interfere with the rear dash... sorry if its a little late, but its just another thing you might wanna try. Automotive Network, Inc., Copyright ©2012
