It will smoke a Civic Si.

yah I know that it wont beat a RSX but it will keep up with anything else in it's class like a civic si, civic sir, ford focus and any other kind of lower end civic I forgot to mention! and if tuned right we are talking about nose to nose till the end aginst a WRX STI.

IF tuned right sure same goes for an SI and a RSX. Infact that goes for any import tuned right. We have 01 Coupe civics pumping out 500whp 350 torque all motor.

yah, I guess your right. Just bacicly all imports tuned perform the same way. It is just that when they are stock they are differnt. Hay, I Should come to visit the honda forums more often. I preferably dont like honda's but your real nice people over here and cary a argument with a lot of respect, unlike some of the people at the hyundai forums do. It is just that I think Hyundai is better and tend to stick to their forums! Feel bad for all of the recalls you honda guys are getting this year!

A stock Civic Si is faster than a stock V6 Tiburon.

Tiburon GT
0-60: 7.94 seconds
1/4 mile: 16.14 @ 88mph

Civic Si
0-60: 7.6 seconds
1/4 mile: 15.9 @ 87.8mph

Go Hyundai, with 6 cylinders you can almost break into the 15's

^^I guess someone needs to tune there watch when recording these stats.

"Next up, we ran the production Tiburon GT V6 down the strip and it, too, made an impressive pass. Glancing at our records, its 7.0-sec time falls between those of the much-admired Acura RSX Type-S (6.7) and the oh-so-popular Toyota Celica GT-S at 7.3 sec"

Top speed : 137 mph
0-60 mph : 7.2 sec.(manual)
0-¼ mile : 15.6 sec @ 88.8 mph
60-0 braking distance : 122 ft

Different sites will have different times, especially depending on altitude and all that jazz. I would honestly rather have a tib though, just because of the torque and looks. torque would make it a much more fun daily driver than the Si.

I feel ya there is some guy in my town with a TIB, he thinks he rules all. I hate him cause I cant beat him....yet.
