it does seem to be the case indeed. the profile of the car is very nice, as is the colour. Toyota should be releasing celica's looking like this rather than tame upgrades like the 190 T-Sport with those sh*tty headlight covers
cheers,
jay

u can go to Rod Millen Motorsports and see what they did on the ultimate Celica, most of its custom work. I would post the link but i got there from www.mygokart.com:frog:

Here may be your biggest problem: the U. Celica has fender flares.
Check this thread for a few more pictures and some information.

Wow, how close minded can one person be.
What about the GT-One? Or how about the MR2/MRS? I know of some MR2s and Celicas which are faster than factory twin-turbo Supras. Now wouldn't that be a shock at the tree. Let us assume you are only referring to the RZ JZA80. Obviously, we have simply another trend-me-happy user aboard. Oh well, so follows the woes of the industry.

The Action Package is a nice body kit for the Celica. I'd get the front bumper, sideskirts, and the rear lip. The action package wing doesn't do it for me so I'd leave that out.

My neighbor has a silver Action Package GT-S. You're right, the spoiler is really tacky. I also don't like the "flared nostril" nose opening in the front where the Toyota emblem used to be. I myself have the standard body, and am relatively satisfied with it for now. If I did happen to buy the A/P, I would have removed the entire kit including spoiler and sold it on eBay on the first day of ownership for close to $1800, buy a cheap fiberglass kit from VIS for $400 (temporarily for the time being), and use the rest of the money to start up a turbo kit. As for the body kit itself down the line, there doesn't seem to be really anything clean and nice (like some of the S14 Silvia kits); everything is overdone and/or a rehash from crap you see on aftermarket Hondas.
