speedometer help???

Ok so I was driving my car the other day (91 Honda Accord DX) and my speedometer just quite. i was told it was a sensor problem cuz the car worked fine. but when i went to a shop a guy told me that it would cost $80 to fix it. does any one know how to fix it?

Same thing happened to me. Get a manual like Hayes, or something (usually under $20) and it will tell you how to fix it.

look on the top of your tranny from the inside of the hood, ,should be below the throttle body, wire conncting to it take off, 2 ten milli bolts and its out

what about an inaccurate speedometer? mine is incorrect constantly. Could that be the same thing?

Possible, if you have to buy a new one try to pick one up at a junkyard, should be less expensive.

Could Be A Vss Sensor, Or Maybe Theres Dirt In Your Wire Connectors On Your Harness At The Rear End Of Of The Engine. Same Thin Happend To Me
