Question steering help

I recently hydroplaned into a curb in my 2001 2dr civic ex. The only place that got hit was the tire on the driver's side front. Since then, the car has been pulling to the left. I took a look at the wheels and swapped the driver's side front with that of the passenger's side front. Before I switched, the car would drive straight if the wheel was turned about 30 degrees to the left. Now that i've rotated, it's actually worse.

I'm not sure if it's an alignment problem or not. Aside from alignment, I hear it could be a steering rod problem. The entire steering pulls to the left and shakes when I go on the freeway. I used to have a small alignment problem in which if I kept the steering wheel in the middle the car would pull a little to the right. Now the entire steering wheel is pulling to the left. I don't know much about cars, and I'm pretty sure I won't be able to fix it especially if it's alignment. I'm just wonder what you guys think the problem could be and how much it'll cost me to repair. Any help or advice will be greatly appreciated.

Re: steering help

take it to an alignment shop and have them check it out. You can replace a steering rod yourself, but you'll have to get it aligned afterwards anyhow.
