88GTIPIMPN AF Newbie Join Date: Nov 2004 Location: waukesha, Wisconsin Posts: 2	running issues i just bought a 88 gti for 700 bucks. the only problem i have is after it runs for a while then i shut it off and then try to drive it agian, it starts but i have to pump the accelerator pedal to gain speed to shift. Then after i get to 4th gear and come to a stop and downshift and take off again its fine?
