anybody make a turbo kit for a d15b7prototype80 11-14-2004, 10:54 PM does anybody make a turbo kit for a d15b7, i was just wondering what people have done with this motor. i have a d15b7 with 142k on it seems to be doing fine but im tired of it being stock im ready to get that shit rolling. 97CivicX 11-15-2004, 03:11 PM the 92-95(z6) kit is a bolt on. i probably wouldnt boost your engine though. d15b7's are the weakest honda ever made bascially and with 142k i wouldnt risk it. maybe swap in a z6 then turbo. the swap would only cost a few hundred if you can get the right prices and do it yourself. tuner04civic 11-16-2004, 05:29 PM no one will make one for that car....your best bet if you want to keep it is to have someone custom make a turbo kit for your car...its likee 5-6 thousand but worth it in the long run...just go to a shop that does that around where u live...and ask what u need 97CivicX 11-18-2004, 10:25 PM how about if you dont know what you're talking about you dont post answers. dohCivic 11-19-2004, 04:38 PM no one will make one for that car....your best bet if you want to keep it is to have someone custom make a turbo kit for your car...its likee 5-6 thousand but worth it in the long run...just go to a shop that does that around where u live...and ask what u need WOW. Edelbrock has a turbo kit called the Performer X for the d15b7 engine. it is also emissions legal. I have this on my car and i have the boost set to 8 psi. It has never hurt my engine ever. It also comes with a tuner box that will set up a turbo for a stock engine. Here is the link. http://www.edelbrock.com/automotive_new/mc/turbos/performerx.shtml Schister66 09-28-2009, 04:05 PM Wow...apparently information on Forced Induction takes a long time to trickle its way back to AF. If you actually want to turbo your D, check out the Forced Induction Forum on Honda-tech. This sub-forum used to be full of info, but has since died off...hell, this is my first time back in over a year IIRC Automotive Network, Inc., Copyright ©2012
