I am looking for the wire the manual tells me to disconnect to time the engine.

The Chiltons manual says its on the passenger fender but I cant find it there. Anyone have any clues?

What is your proceedure for timing your engine??

I have a 93 Olds Silhouette with a 3.1.

Look at the passenger wheel mount, the cone shaped metal dome to the left of the engine.

My Lumina APV '95 actually has a wire that has to be grounded instead of the desciption in the manual like you say.
