Camaro vs. GNHypsi87 11-12-2004, 03:50 PM HAHA. Well it happend just like in my sig..... (I did not accually race a camaro. My car is still broke but, I found my sig online last night and I just had to get it.) TypeS 11-12-2004, 03:53 PM Damn, what suspensions does that Camaro have, it keeps turning ding 180s in less than a second. AMAZING! Hypsi87 11-12-2004, 03:59 PM So is the GN, I told you they could handle. whtteg 11-12-2004, 06:26 PM LOL Got to love the GN's :bigthumb: 90redgt 11-12-2004, 09:02 PM if i didn't have stang, i'd have a GN those things are kick ass fatninja19 11-14-2004, 04:30 AM if i didn't have stang, i'd have a GN those things are kick ass I'd have a GN too! if i could afford one... JohnC24 11-17-2004, 12:57 PM i wouldnt get anything but a GN .if there were more of them. Hypsi87 11-17-2004, 01:05 PM i wouldnt get anything but a GN .if there were more of them. Hell they made 14K GNs in 87 alone. Yea that is rare but I think alot of people confuse the GN's with the GNX (not saying you did.) If I had a dollar everytime someone refered to my car as a GNX, I could go buy a GNX. JohnC24 11-17-2004, 01:37 PM i probably did but i would get either of them anyway. drftk1d 11-17-2004, 02:52 PM whats the difference between a gn and gnx? -Josh- 11-17-2004, 03:12 PM damn, got my mind on GN's now!! I will have one next summer. Andydg 11-17-2004, 04:08 PM damn, got my mind on GN's now!! I will have one next summer. That's my plan too those things are probably one of the best looking cars I've ever seen. :naughty: Igovert500 11-17-2004, 04:54 PM whats the difference between a gn and gnx? Both were 3.8L V6 Turbo, I took this from Hypsi87's FAQ on turbo buicks: http://www.automotiveforums.com/vbulletin/showthread.php?t=256216&highlight=gnx "5. What is the GNX and how many of them were produced? The GNX was the GN to end all GN's When Buick found out that 1987 was going to be the last production year for most of the G-bodies, Buick sent 547 GN's to AMC Mclaren for the updates to make it the GNX. 6. What is the difference between a GNX and a GN? The biggest difference is in the suspension. Other difference were as follows. Different turbo with a ceramic turbine for faster spool up, Analoge gauges packs in the dash, different EPROM in the pcm (chip), front functional fender louvers, fender flares. Also the GN badges were replaced with GNX badges and the cars number was placed on the passenger side dash borad." GNX: 3.8L V6 Turbo 276 bhp @ 4400 rpm, 360 ft-lb @ 3000 rpm. 0-60 in 5.5 seconds, 1/4 mile in 13.43 seconds @ 103 mph. The GN's had a little more trouble putting the power to the ground without the upgraded suspension, so their stats aren't quite as good, but still fast. CivRacer95 11-17-2004, 06:38 PM Man the GNX sounds like an awesome car. I never knew Buick had such a car as that. Just thought of them as Granny cars, or Grandpa's sunday driver. Got me interested in them already. That GNX sounds like something else. Late... drftk1d 11-17-2004, 09:11 PM I remeber seeing some twin turbo gn t type before... turbo magazine maybe?
