supercharger or turb

I have a 2000 civic si and want to add a little something and cant make up my mind turbo or supercharger please help

To me it just depends on what your going to be doing with your car. I am a turbo fan personally and i think you will get more of a bang for the buck out of a turbo if you get a good one. However, if your into autocross id go with a supercharger. I got to drive a 99si with a jackson racing supercharger on it through an autocross course and it was amazing. But its up to you.

Superchargers are a little easier to install, if you have dencent mechanical ability you can put one on yourself. With a turbo, personally, i would feel more comfortable with someone who has installed one before there with me, but if you think you can do it then go for it.

w/ a civic and stock internals get a good t3/t4 system and you'll be at full boost between the 3k to 4k rpm range so the advantages of a supercharger are pretty much out of the picture..w/ the new technology of todays turbo systems "lag" is not as big an issue as it once was....if i were you id go turbo
