Auto Security Alarm

What do you guys think about the K-9 Mundial auto alarm? I have the stock anti-theft device in my 2000 Silverado right now, but would like some added security for my truck. Any advice or comments would be a great help. Thanks.

Re: Auto Security Alarm

It sucks. Just remember you get what you pay for. I would suggest having a professional install a Python unit or others from DEI.

Re: Auto Security Alarm

My personal preference is Viper or pretty much anything from DEI. Their alarms are very good and last a long time. They are more expensive than others, but are well worth it.

My opinion is anything with rock solid performance, product operates exactly as stated it would, great customer serivice if it doesn't, and product that lasts.

I have delt and sold many different brands. Many would look great out of the box but a year or so later would fail. Most of the time it would be the remotes but other times it would be more serious. Many cheaper units like the bulldog and autopage to name a few I had major problems with. They would melt at the main connector to the "brain" without even blowing a fuse. There is no way I would want that in my car
