Just a questionlil_tinsel85 11-09-2004, 10:45 AM :eek7: I'm a college student in Ontario, Canada and I am doing a research paper comparing NASCAR to Formula 1 and I just have a quick question about the Nextel points system. I know the leader starts with 5,050 points, but are more points added upon completion of the race or are mistakes deducted from that total. I understand the basic points system of the winner be award 180 and so on, but I am confused about how the Nextel points work. If there is anyone that can help me that would great! kfoote 11-09-2004, 11:13 AM The points accumulate in the normal fashion. More info can be found here: http://www.nascar.com/2004/news/headlines/cup/01/30/points_system/index.html lil_tinsel85 11-09-2004, 01:07 PM  Thanx  freakray 11-09-2004, 07:03 PM Please stop posting your questions in multiple locations, you need only post them ONCE.
