Question 2.5TBI to 4.3 TBI??

I was wondering how big of a job it is to put a 4.3 TBI where a 2.5 TBI was. the 2.5 is in a 85 S 10 and the 4.3 is out of a 1990 1/2 ton chevy. if the fuel injection is a prob, i can just convert it to carburator and do away with the electronic ignition right?? Also, will the tranny bolt up to the 4.3?? If anyone has any answers or sugestions. Let me know. Thanks.

tranny will not bolt up. you will need a 4.3L tranny. the fuel injection system shouldnt be a problem. just remove a complete fuel injection system including intake manifold, wiring harness and ecm. if you know anything about wiring it shouldnt be a problem. if you dont then go with a carb.
