Wipers And Horn Activate When I Signal RightFlystratus98 11-07-2004, 11:36 AM When i signal to turn right my wipers and horn go on and the horn purses like the blinkers. I went out and bought a new signal relay and the switch and the problem is still there. Is a unique situation. What can i look for to find the problem??????? Please HELP Thanks iceman33 11-13-2004, 09:47 PM That's a new feature on the 1998 stratus. There may be pedestrians on the side of the road when you turn, so Dodge felt it would be a good safety feature to warn pedestrians when you're turning into their path. The wipers go off in case the pedestrian pisses on your windshield in fear of being run over. In the event that you do hit a pedestrian, the signal-horn-wiper feature will disable itself to give you time to escape before the cops get there. I like the feature. I've nearly hit several people, but this feature saved me several lawsuits. I did hit a couple of people who couldn't hear well, but was able to leave the scene before anyone knew what was happening.......thanks to the disable feature.
