today i got my chip mod and i installed it and my timing belt starting making a screeching sound for some reason....i un-installed it and put some stuff on the belt and the squeaking went away...has anyone else have had this problem? any ideas of whats going on? and is it a bad idea to put this on a 90 lumina wit 150k miles on it?

there is no timing belt on 3.1L. Which belt are you talking about? Just the serpentine belt? A new chip couldn't possibly make that happen. Get a new belt and tensioner if it's squeaking.

see if you can get it to screech again and listen closely to what is really the problem, and let us know.

please dont tell me you bought that crappy intake mod chip from ebay for 8 bux. Thats things totally fuck up the computer. I wouldnt trust it. TAKE IT OUT
