i have a b18b with 122k miles, i boosted it once b4, and the piston rings gave out. i was boosting 9psi. i want to replace the rings, and rebuild the engine so i can boost it again with new parts. would the 122k mile pistons and rods and crank hold up to 9psi.

um . . . . yes they will, just change the rings if you are on a budget and clean the pistons up. It's not PSI you are looking for it's how much power can your stock internals withstand. there's a guy on HT running 20psi on a bone stock LS Motor with a perfect 12:1 a/f ratio but he's only making 314hp . . . . I think that's weird becuase I got a friend making 316whp off 10psi on a LS motor but his motor is built. basically though all and all yes your stock internals will be able to withstand 9psi. If people can run 12psi on stock D Series internals . . . . LS motors hav thicker rods and all so yo are good to go =)
