Loss of PowerWischmaster 11-04-2004, 05:17 PM I just got my 94 Civic EX with the D16z6 like 2 months ago. When I first filled up and drove it off the lot, I could squawk the tires quite easily without trying. Probably 4500rpm's ish. Now about a month or so later... maybe even sooner, I can't do that. I even took it way up on rpm's... nothing. Double-clutched... nothing. I get annoyed seeing that my friend has an LX with like 90 horse an he can do it no problem. Any have any ideas? Oh yeah, it doesn't feel like it has as much "pick-up" as it used to. Feels alittle boggy when I get on it. Before it was nice and clean acceleration. Thanks for your help. GScivic7 11-04-2004, 06:06 PM probably just needs a tune up. Why are you spinning the tires straight off the lot anyhow. Who knows how long the car has just been sitting there without any real driving. polacek 11-05-2004, 12:18 AM Here is what you need. Timing adjusted valves adjusted clutch adjusted oil changed It'll run like a champ then. Keep in mind, a stock civic is momma's car, not Indy 500 Wischmaster 11-05-2004, 05:29 PM probably just needs a tune up. Why are you spinning the tires straight off the lot anyhow.
