My 1990 rx7 will run fine down the road for about 12 or so miles then all of the sudden its cuts out. I can turn the car off and crank it right back up and it will run fine for about another 12 miles. Somebody please help me!!!!

Have you checked you battery? My Dad's Buick LeSabre Had the same problem and it was because the battery was low.

not the battery. when the car is running the alternator is the thing that makes the power.

neither of those would make it die while running and still start right up... what does your car idle at? my idle is kind of messed up and my car likes to die when I slow down, stop, or turn a corner... but I haven't figured out my problem still either so who knows

Will it sit and idle or does it shut down while idleing for a while? When did it start doing this? Have you changed anything or played with anything(hop ups) or did it just start doing it for no reason?

The Idle Rpm Is Normal. If It Sits Long Enough, It Will Start Acting Up Too, But It Has To Sit For About 20 Minutes At Idle To Start Doing It. It Takes About 10 Minutes For It To Start Acting Up When I Am Driving It. The Thing Is Though, Once I Shut It Off And Re-crank It, It Acts Fine For Another 10. Its Not Like It Is Having To Cool Down Or Anything

First off, why do you gotta capitalize every word? Thats annoying to read. Anyway, I would reccomend checking the compression. Im lookin at an 87 right now and it dies at low RMP, and Ive been told by the sellers and several poeple that compression is the main concern.

Have you done anything to the car, when did this problem start? The more info you give us the easyer it is and the more accurate the diagnosis will be. Just give us all the symptoms and when they started along with things you have checked and things you have changed.
