installing a new radio in my 02 lancer

Ok so I'm taking out the factory radio and installing one that I have in my corolla right now into my 02 lancer oz...does anyone have any idea how to do this? Because in order to get it done professional I'll be paying way too much and I'd rather be able to do it myself but I have no clue how and I don't want to fuck up my Lancer. Could anyone help me out?

find a friend that you know that has done it before i know you don't have to be genious to do it. try gettin a install kit that goes with the o2 oz and just gettin the right wires to each other.

maybe he wasn't talking about the wiring. The hardest problem I had was figuring out how the dashboard came apart. Just to give you an idea, you have to take out the entire center console. It sucked. But after I figured out that part, it was easy.

well if it is the wiring your talking about they have a wiring harness for it. just be sure to get the right one since there are a harness for the amplified or non amplified dont know what the diff is just what the guy at best buy asked me. now as to taking the pannle off all you need to do is pop off your ac/heater knobs and take out the 2 screws u see under 2 of them then the rest pops right out hope this helps
