Headlights won't turn off.

hey guys i got a problem with my 87 celica, the headlights don't want to turn off, i have to take out the fuses to shut them off. Anyone know what the problem could be?? all the other light around the car work fine it's just the headlights. They go up and down but they stay on even when they r down.?? pllleeasseee help me.

that's odd, I'd suspect a problem with the dash switch that turns them on

Yup, sounds like a switch or wiring issue.

There's probably a short somewhere in the wiring - looked to see if any of the wires look suspiciously frayed and is the switch is connected.
