Mazda Speed?
I have a 1993 Mazda 626 ES,
When i bought the car it had front & rear strut tower bars,
& a racing sound muffler, definitly not stock sounding,
but looks stock,
it has a mazda speed emblem & I was wondering if thats somthing sombody put on or if the 626 come out with a mazda speed package.
feels very quick,I havent ran it at the tracks yet,
but tachs 3200 RPMS in 5th gear at 60 mph,is that normal?

yea,as ugly as yours in the dark,
what matters is that your little 4 banger wouldnt see the light of day,
all it would see is the smoke from the 17'z
btw,I'm not gettin frustrated at all about this topic,
its not even my car!
we've done some searching around the net & cant find nothing on mazdaspeed about being stock,
what I'm beginning to think,is that the people with a mazda 626 around this forum dont even know the answer to my question!

Re: Mazda Speed?
From what I've seen, I think MazdaSpeed has been active in Japan selling tuned Mazdas from the showroom, just like they did with the Miata in the US. I doubt that MazdaSpeed has tuned cars here in the US though. Car enthusiasts may put MazdaSpeed badges on their vehicles for aesthetic reasons.

I think thats a supra...Yup thats a MK3 supra, with the pop up head lights (so it's not a four banger its a inline 6).

Re: Mazda Speed?
Actually it may in fact be legit mazdaspeed parts, you can order them through their website and they have a cvast assortment of parts. Thats where i got my radiator. However they were definately put on aftermarket because only badged mazdaspeed cars come with mazdaspeed parts.

Re: Re: Mazda Speed?
thx for all these replys,
I'm reading everyone of them,
the sticker isn't just a sticker, its sort of like a tough stand-out type of adhesive sticker,
right beside the taillight, but I will be sure to tell my brother on the last reply, thx again.
