Heat Wrap

Has anyone here used heat wrap on their header? If so, does it actually work and could it possibly reduce the vibrating from my header hitting my oilpan? Thanks guys.

I asked a guy that works at a performance shop about the wrap.He said that it works so good on heat that after time the header will actully desentergrate.Thats if its an every day driver, but its ideal for drag or car that only see a couple hundred miles a year.but as far as tappin the oil pan if you just wrapped that area it should workgood.

Re: Heat Wrap

My buddy used it on his downpipe for his turbo civic (not exaclty the same of what you're asking) but it works really well. He beats on his car every day and I've never seen the car over heat once.
