i am looking a a 1996 lumina avp and i was wondering how liablie is it does it have much break downs are they like the plymouth vans break down all the time or do they last for ever and how much can i tow with one its got the 3.1 in itand its fully loaded if some one can give me some info thanks

I've got a '93 APV 3.8 w/226,000 and the thing's a tank. I've loaded it to the gills at Home Depot and had no problem ( other than being light in the front due to all the crap in the back! ).I use it like a pick-up.

The only "let me down" situation I ever had was the connector under the driver's seat ( wires go through the floor ) that supplies juice to the fuel pump gave out due to corrosion, and one fuel pump wore out. Other than that, no problems.
