Re: "supercharge your camaro"

oh and i know someone would say that because i havent tried it i couldnt say that, but go take a good long look at their website, notice they dont have any dyno graphs with back to back testing??? or independant studies showing improoved gas mileage?? there is a reason for that.

I don't think those things work at all.

I think you can increase HP with exhaust/intake and not suffer a decrease in gas mileage...I'm prolly wrong though.

Re: "supercharge your camaro"

actually the relationship between hp and mileage depends on how you go about adding hp. if you just throw more fuel at it, and stuff the cylenders full, and throw a big cam on it, then yes, thats the propor relation between the two. however it is entirely possible to get both. reducing friction, increasing combustion efficiency, and proporly tuning an engine will increase both power and gas mileage.

Re: "supercharge your camaro"

A high performance air filter can add horsepower and fuel economy. One type is K&N it can add up to 27 horsepower for around 50.00

Re: "supercharge your camaro"

Yeah the addition to the horsepower is a ratio to the horsepower you all ready have, so if you have a 505 hp. 'Vette it can add 27 horsepower, for a 3rd generation camaro it would probably be between 10 and 20
