First off, don't get smart. Not everyone knows answers to all the questions posted on here. Most people are on here because they don't have answers either. The people who do have answers are busy enough trying to keep up. This is afree service where people come on to get advice or give it or both. Just be patient if you don't get a response as soon as you post something. I don't know the answer to your question, but if I am to give an opinion I woul say during the warm up period it will sit at about 1000 rpm, then when it's warmed up anything between 550 to 700 rpm would be considered normal 700 being a little on the high side. Hope this helps you.

Re: 1992 2.3L Quad 4 HO Idle Speed????

All I was trying to tell you is that it's nothing personal that you didn't get an answer to your post right away. This is a bulletin board, not live chat. Especially when it comes to specific questions, it can take a bit for a response. I'm glad you got it figured out, though. Hopefully your knowledge can be shared on the board, because like I said before, there are more people looking for answers then people who can give answers or advice. It would be nice to have more people on here that could help. That way situations where you had to wait three days for a response could be eliminated. Hopefully the board can serve you better in the future.
