oil capacity for i6

Just purchased a 2004 TB with the I6 4.2 engine. Can someone tell me what the oil capacity of this engine is. I believe it uses 5w30 is that correct? thanks for all replies.

5W-30 is correct, 7quarts.

O.K. since you are listening...READ YOUR MANUAL, pay attention to the BREAK IN PERIOD. Change your oil at the first 1000 miles. The service tech will think you are nuts...do it anyway, it's $25.00 on a $25,000.00 car. That is .001% of the cost of the vehical. It can't hurt.
