I had a 97 ex that would chirp the tires 1-2 shift at redline. Front of trans top side is the dipstick. Look down between the radiator and front of trans, you should see a small yellow ring - that's the stick & fill hole. Check trans level with engine off. scubawrstlr 10-24-2004, 09:31 PM how do you drain the trans fluid on a 90 ex? BullShifter 10-25-2004, 01:25 AM how do you drain the trans fluid on a 90 ex? On the passenger side(right side bottom) It's the only bolt with a square opening on the side - use a 3/8" ratchet to remove plug so the dip stick is on the top side in front of the tranny ok. The stick and fill hole is that where i put the fluid through? Yes, after filling start car and run through the gears. Reverse for 5 seconds, neutral for 4, drive for 5, put it back in park, shutoff engine, check level. It's always easier to start low and add fluid than it is to drain an over filled trans. 97accord-ex-v6 10-25-2004, 07:04 PM I just poured mine down the dipstick tube, I put some fuel tube over it and used a funnel. That was before I knew it had a fill hole. lol I think it took like 3 qts. But that is for a 97 v6 Automotive Network, Inc., Copyright ©2012
