Bodykit Suggestion..

Hey what's up.. I'm wondering if anyone knows of a bodykit that isn't too exciting .. I'm modding my civic for show or to be a luxury type vehicle.. and I know body kits are mainly used for racing styles or aerodynamic purposes but I'm wondering if anyone knows of one that isn't too detailed and a person wouldn't think "Race" or should i say "Rice" when they see it... but hmmm.. if you have altezzas you are considered trying to be a racer.. Anyway. I seen the Type R kits but those are so expensive for what their visual appeal is.. any suggestions?

Do you mean that people with altezzas are trying to be racers? I thought it would be more for show purposes, since they stemmed from people doing the actual taillight conversion. I don't think getting skyline taillights will make your car as fast as a skyline. But anyway, for the body kit, I would go with the Sinsei front, Black Widows sides and rear, or the Sinsei front, Black Widow sides and the Buddy Club rear. There's a lot you have to choose from. Have fun picking out your kit. If you keep it nice and simple, you can't go wrong.
Oh and when I mentioned the altezzas and trying to be a racer, I wasn't started anything. I was just wondering if that's what you thought.

Well, in my opinion, some kits that don't look too exciting but are clean-looking are a number of Tsunami front lips. I'm not sure if the stock front bumpers of 98 Civics are the same as the 99-00 ones (I'm sure someone knows around here) but the Tsunami T1 looks really nice. I question the differences between the 98 and 99-00 front bumpers because the T1 goes real well with the 99-00 front bumper. As for the rear bumpers, I'd go with the Buddy Club rear or Black Widow, as others have said already. For the sideskirts, I'm not really sure, but the Buddy Club ss look tiiiiite. Hope that kinda helps.

I'm thinking of a less aggressive look for my ride too, AFTER I make my performance mods, of course. My setup would be something like the T1 front lip, stock ss(I'll just make them the same color as the rest of my ride), and maybe the Buddy Club rear(which will most likely hang lower than the ss so I'll see about the rear). Anyways, that's just extra info I wanted to share regarding my plans. Lates!

Oh and btw, the Mugen Type SS?(I think that's what it's called) kit is fairly simple and clean looking too. Add the NEO Type M to my list of front lip sugggestions too. Lates!

What I meant by the Altezza comment was that some people think that if you put Altezzas on your car that you are trying to make your car look fast.. and that if you have the altezza tails you would be called a ricer just for that.. I, of course, don't agree with that since it has no purpose other than changing the appearance and effecting lighting which really doesnt improve or hurt performance. It's hard trying to explain something in text I'm sorry if I confused anyone.. Thanks for all the suggestions
