Last night about 9:30ish I was driving around old v-town waiting on a friend to call me. Well I am coming up Ashley street and there is a blue newer model mustang beside me. At first I wasn't paying attention and just looked forward listening to my music. Out of the very corner of my right eye I see him edging up, and hear him rev his engine a bit. Well the light turns green and he pushes ahead, and I just roll on. At the next light (we hit 4 during the story) he does it again, and once again i roll out slowly not trying to race. Well at the third light he does it once again. So after he pulls out, I gun it and blow by and beat him to the next light by about 7 car lengths. Once again he revs his engine and I just sit there and look forward like nothing happened, I even yawn. Well as soon as the light hits green we are off, and At first he pulls then I am gone, and trying not to laugh I pull in front of him, and turn off after beating him by 5 car lengths at least.

later that night I am in my friends white eurovan going to band practice, when this guy (julian) in a red 2001 eclipse gt pulls beside us. My friend guns it in the van and has julian up to about 85 mph when julian reaches over and hits his NOS....zooommmm!!!!!!....he is gone....it was just funny to watch him getting beat by a van. All he has on his car is a muffler, some rims, and HUGE ass aluminum wing, and his juice....I was hoping he wouldn't hit the bottle actually, that would have been embarassing..

that is great go eurovan and what mods you got on your car?

im gonna have to call BS on this one. A VW eurovan has a 10.6 sec 0-60 according to motor trend and probably a horrendous 1/4 time. An eclipse GT is a mid to low 15 second car. i doubt very seriously that racing a eurovan would cause the need to spray in an eclipse GT. Even a horrible driver could pull off mid 16s in the eclipse and i doubt there is even a manual eurovan so its prolly a pretty consistent ET. you said you had him up to 85 which would be close to trap speed for the eclipse. youd think a good driver would spray before the end of the race

personally i really don't care what you think....all i was saying is that the van was ahead until about 85 when the eclipse hit his juice...and that it was funny....
