1988 Beretta Instrument Cluster

I have a 88, that when the headlights come on, the instrument cluster lights do not illuminate, the clock display goes out. Any ideas what could be wrong? I have tried replacing the Instument cluster, push button switch for headlights/parking lights and computer.

Re: 1988 Beretta Instrument Cluster

I personally don't know what that could be. When I had mine, they went out shortly after installing my sound system. I checked the fuse but that wasn't it. I just drove it without cluster light at night. All I can say is take it to a shop, if it's not a fuse.

You have a bad ground somewhere on the circuit for the headlight. Check to make sure nothing is spliced into the line or there is any corrosion around the light connections.
