I know this question has been asked million times, but i cant find any info for my rim size. I have an 04 prerunner (trd) with 265/70/16. I want to put 16x8 daytona rims on it with 31/10.5/16 bfg a/t. will this set up work? are the 31x10.5x16 bigger than the 265x70x16? Most threads are with people putting on 31/10.5 on 15x7 rims. will mine rub, or look funny?

any info really appreciated.

The 265/70/16 have exactly the same diameter (30.7 inches), have almost identical widths (10.5 in on 8 in rims & 10.7 in on 8.25 in rims), and have the same number of revolutions per mile (678) as the 31x10.5x16. In pretty much every dimension, they're the same size. You shouldn't be able to tell them apart once they're on. BTW, I got all of this straight from the BFG website.

Do you have a recommendation on what size to get? I just want something a bit wider and thicker than what the stock tires are. I dont have $ to lift it. Just as long as the tires dont rub.
