1995 Safari Intermittant IP Lights (Ground location?)

Hi -
I've got a 1995 Safari, 150K Miles. Runs fine. The IP lighting is intermittant. Off/on over bumps. I'm wondering whre the IP Lighting gets its ground. When they work the dimmer controls the brightness fine. tapping, wiggling harness where I can has no affect.

Ideas?

Hi Mike. Did you ever find the location of this troublesome ground? I have a 1993 Safari with the same symptoms with my gauge lights.
