Question brake booster

1972 pontiac firebird with a 350 2 bbl engine....i cannot get the brake booster off how do i do this?

i also overheated the car recently and i just replaced the water pump and thermostat but now i have a miss in the enigine. i replaced the spark plugs, the distributor cap, the rotor, and the spark plug wires. What could the problem be?

What have you tested, so far?
I would run a compression test just to make sure no major damage was done.

Also I know this doesn't answer your question but I recommend getting a Haynes or one of the other Manuals because they will provide a better description of the step by step procedure for removing a brake booster than most of us could and They have pretty pictures too(always a bonus). Most will run you around $15

yea i need to test it but after i got the water pump replaced they said the only reason i didnt mess up my engine was because i had just changed the oil that week
