I'm looking at buying a Talon ESI but it has 222000KM (NOT MILES) Is it okay as long as its been taken care of? I can get it for a killer deal but I wanna know if the engine is going to last. Anyone have one with that many km's? i think thats about 125000Miles

has the trans been replaced? if not I don't give it much longer, especially if its an automatic.

yeah thats the thing... its been garaged its on the first owner with all the maintanience records. A girl drove it so she did everything the dealership asked

then you should be good for awhile as long as you keep doing the maintence.

edit: even though this sounds like a good esi. make sure that you arent going to come back in a week whining aboput getting beat by a honda. if you want a fast car an esi is not the best base to start with. if you just want something kinda quick that looks cool go for it.

Did I say anything about speed? or trying to beat a honda? No I don't... Stick to the question buddy... and leave the performance up to me.

It turned out to be a pretty good car. It needed a rear wheel bearing and a windshield but other then that its a nice little car. Give it some rims and maybe run alittle boost through it and it will be a nice little car. If anyone is selling 17" rims let me know.

Either the guy before you didn't take care of it or you got a lemon mobile.... I'm just worried about the bottom end... but i've heard the 420A is a pretty strong motor... Yeah mines a 5spd and its fine.... The only thing wrong with the motors is that it has noisy lifters when u first start it up on a really cold day, but that doesn't bother me at all.

I know, its hard to trust people these days though. They say its all good even if it isn't. Burning oil at only 80, 000 miles. I got the car and it was at 77k miles. I don't even take the RPMs over 3-4k...
