dim headlightmacbunch 10-19-2004, 07:55 PM I just bought a 2000 s-10 and i'm having a problem with the left headlight. When you turn the headlights on the pass side works perfectly but the drivers side lights up both high and low beam bulbs regardless of weather you have high or low beams on. Any ideas? Mikado14 10-19-2004, 08:10 PM Check your ground for that headlight. macbunch 10-19-2004, 08:20 PM any idea where the ground is for the headlight? Mikado14 10-19-2004, 08:41 PM On a 2000, not sure, but you can trace it from the socket back. Usually, to the radiator support. movin2stereo 10-19-2004, 08:48 PM On the engine compartment side. macbunch 10-20-2004, 05:51 PM Does anyone have a wiring diagram for the headlight system in a 2000 s-10 4x4 macbunch 10-22-2004, 08:52 AM Thanks to everyone for the advice. I just wanted to let you know what the problem was. I ended up going to alldatadiy.com and subscribing, The site is great! Any wiring diagram you could want and all the procedures. Anyway the problem was a fuse. The headlights have fuses in this truck and the fuse was the wrong size (10A instead of 15A) it had blown. I replaced the fuse and we were good to go. BlazerLT 10-23-2004, 10:11 AM Thanks for the completion, cheers. BTW, is your ALLDATA subscribtion for just one model and year of truck? macbunch 10-23-2004, 05:07 PM Yes that is all you get when you subscribe BlazerLT 10-23-2004, 09:07 PM Dammit! Was going to ask you a "cough* favor. Automotive Network, Inc., Copyright ©2012
