oxygen sensor

Hi everybody, first time here. Can anyone tell me where the drivers side foward oxygen sensor is located on a 96 6cyl ram 1500 manual trans? Also will disconnecting the battery afterword turn the ck engine light off. Any help would be great. Donald

It will be mounted inside the front side of the catalytic converter.
