Ok guys I'm a member of dtmpower.net and can't seem to get an honest answer from them. I have a complete 325es car, and I want to swap the motor into my 318i what all do i need to do the swap?

If both are e-30 bodied the issue is a matter of using the sixer engine harness and ECU.

The engine, engine cradle, and transmission are bolt in.

You will need to use the complete under carriage and differential from the sixer.

You may want the sixer springs and cartidges.

what do you mean the under carridge?

tranny, drive shaft and rear end. Also with the exaust in mind you might have to get one custom done. The OEM one might be in the way of the drive shaft.
