I have a 1994 dodge ram 1500 with a 5.2L.

Ok it will start "ok" but if i put it into gear any gear it will stall. I found out if i put it in neutral then start it the put it in drive really fast and keep pressing the gas it will stay moving and not stall but if im at a stop light or sign it will stall. Anyone know what is causing this?????

Could be TPS, or some sort of valve in the throttle body (i forgot what the valve is called). Also, check your tranny fluid. There could be a problem with the torque converter lock-up. The clutch might not be releasing.

If the rpm's drop immediately when put in gear.. I have the same problem, and am still searching for a fix.
