I’m sure at least some of you have seen this. It’s been posted all over the place, but I’ve yet to see it posted here. Apparently its off of a street racing DVD, but some people think its fake. I don’t know though…

Sounds like something I might do. Except for the burnout part. I would'nt destroy the tires, but I would do a redline acceleration on a dealer test drive

The salesman wasn't very smart in the first place '03 Cobras are six speed not five and the guy didn't even have a license, but he still let him drive it just to try and get a sale.

It shows how greedy they are. But I'm sure that the guy had his licence with him, he just didn't want the dealership to be able to sue him or something. This way they don't know who he is.

I somehow think this is a fake. Camera around... the salesman would probably find it suspicious already. Then there was an outside shot of the car driving in and then doing a burnout. How'd they place the camera there when it was only a last minute decision to go for a test drive? They had 2 shots of the burnout, 1 incar, another from the outside. This other camera man was there from the start. Did he already know they were going for a test drive? The salesman's acting wasn't convincing.

A. No license, no way the dealership would let him drive. They copy all your drivers license info before you test drive.
B. On a car like that, they will see if you can finance the car before they let you test drive/joy ride.

Oh, ya thats true you aren't aloud to test drive SVT Cobras same with Lancer evos and others.

No way is that real. Why would you let a guy test drive a car (like that) if he cant produce a drivers liscense. First of all theres a million reasons someone wouldnt have or show one, and none of them are good. Either its revoked, or if they wanted to steal the car, or pull something like that.

U dont have to think that deep guys.... think of the camera angle! Like what i said above ,How'd they place the camera for the burnout on the outside when it was only a last minute decision to go for a test drive? They had 2 shots of the burnout, 1 incar, another from the outside. This other camera man was there from the start. Did he already know they were going for a test drive?

As they are pulling into the dealer the test driver says “Grab the other camera” before they take it for a spin. That’s how the got the outside shot of him doing a burnout.

I’m not sure what time it is, but its dark in the video. I didn’t know dealerships where open that late.

When they first go out to the car with the salesman up in the right hand corner, where the top of the door is, something is blurred out. I wonder what that is and why it was blurred.

Yeah, dealerships are open that late. I've taken test drives even at like 9pm. Since I'm 17, I usually go with my dad, because otherwise they don't let me drive them. I usually go for the Camaros/Mustangs, but only in like 1 out of 4 cases did they even ask me for a licence. And that was at only the big dealerships. Small ones like the one in the video, they just give you a plate, and that's it. They don't even go with you.

that lil area thats blurred out is the address...they probably wanted a lil decency for the dealership so they blurred that out...even tho they "fukked up the car real bad". But that salesman is an idiot...

If it was a brad new car it would be at a SVT dealership and you AREN'T aloud to test drive Cobras, and every time i've gone with someone to test have always been asked for a licence so they can make a copy.

Umm....
yeah.
That salesman's a douche-bag.
And it's at a Toyota used car lot.
And the burnout shot?
How's about the wheelman drove back to where they knew the cameraman was going to be?
Did they know they were going on a test drive? Abso-fuckin'-lutely.

There was still another shot at a different location. Another camera?

hey bottom line is it probally is real if you think about it it was a 2002 cobra which means it was USED so someone sold the car and it is an a used dealership.

Your right it could have been used, but it was definitely a '03 10th anniversary edition you can tell by the wheels and hood.
