Hello all mazda gurus out there,

I was trying to figure out the name of a part in my Mazda 626 DX 1992 car which cracked because of rust.

I was able to see right through the crack when I open the hood and look down behind the oil tank, from the passenger side. From what I understood, its like a bent pipe that connects the engine exhaust and muffler. I am not sure if its all one piece or there are others that join into it. When I spoke to a muffler shop, he said it could be 'flex pipe' or 'flux pipe', but wouldnt be able to know until he takes a look at it.

I get a very bothering noise under the engine during driving as if the silencer broke and it keeps increasing every day. I dont have much pickup now.

I was wondering if any one could point me to what could be the part name so that I can ask for it directly at the retailers and know the price. I really dont want to get ripped off by local repair shops here.

Also, is there any website that I could visit where I can find images for car parts. Not auto parts vendors!!
