I am looking for a plain and simple cowl hood preferable CF never been a fan of Fiberglass but I can;t be picking. I see all these hoods with different vents and stuff but I just want a cowl hood anyone know where I can get one. For an s13

why do you want a cowl hood.if it had a carb maybe...ERRRR it'll be just like putting a cowl hood on a honda.STUPID AS HELL!!!

All the NICE hoods for our cars that ALSO FIT PROPERLY are pretty damn expensive.I know you are not willing to pay $800 for a fiberglass hood let alone $1,000 for a CF hood...

Why Do You Want A Cowled Induction Hood? Or Do You Want A Fake One Just For The Look? I'd Just Buy A Cowl You Like And A Fiberglass Hood And Have A Body Shop Blend Them Together.

Btw: Cowl Induction Is Only Good For Top Mounted Carb Applications.

nah man, i've seen a cowl hood on an S13 hatch, it dosent look right. Look on ebay, there is plenty of vented hood for under 500$. vented hoods, in real life, look good

just take your hood off...plenty of open space to let the hot air out!!

Stick a stack of washers in between the hood mounts.

yea just raise the ass end of the hood up.... just looks like your hood is raised up a bit. iv seen it done on a few drift vids too....dont look bad.

DONT GO COWL HOOD please dude... cowls are mostly like muscle cars , stangs camaros, plus you have no clearance issues im sure. If you had a carb them a fat filter on top then yea maybe... or a 5.0 with those huge intakes then maybe... 240 with cowl hood NOOO!!! it will look like crap i agree! Not only muscle car guys make fun of you, but also you will get asked what you got under the hood and you say blah blah and you will get laughed at because you have no reason for why you have a cowl hood but just because you think it looks good.

Take it from all of us and dont do it... you will look like a fool out there, go with the gills, those are sick, or go with teh invader type hood, or just stick with the plain carbon hood. Cowl hood is not an option!!! You will get banned from here if you do the cowl hood!!! well maybe not, but dont do it :headshake
