Talking My First Post!

Heyy whats upp?? I own a 98 civic EX and it's currently un-modded but it certainly will be in the near future.. I'll be posting updates as I start modding.. mainly for opinions (I know some will hate but thats ok) and suggestions and help. To start things in the right direction I'm planning on ALL SHOW, SLOW GO. IMO, hondas and most imports are works of art when modified correctly.. I respect ANYONE who puts hard earned cash into their cars to change the way they look and the people who make these slow cars fast.. It may be odd but if I were to choose between a civic with 8G'z on looks and 8G's on engine I'd buy or choose the one with looks.. I'm a fan of street racing although I do not proticipate in them, it is very entertaining to see these beauties fly.. I know gear heads will go head and call me a ricer or whatever even though I don't even care about going fast.. hell, I drive slow to slow off my car.. not go 90 mph in a 35 to wreck it or get it impounded.. I've read some posts before I descided to join this forum and that's why I descided to clear things up from the start. Later.

Well.. 1st on my list is window tint... and this is where I'm almost basing my whole color scheme on.. the car paint is that stock green that civics have.. and I used to want that silver/greenish type of mirror tint but then I seen the black housed head assemblies and even black housed altezzas so now i'm leaning more toward a dark colored tint to have a match with some black housed head and tail lights plus a black interior.. have any of you seen a green civic with the black housed head or tail lights? The way i'm picturing it will look nice but I'm not sure..

I haven't seen the black housing lights on a civic around here yet but i'm sure there are a lot with them but i'm glad I have the internet so i can have an advantage in getting products that may not be avaible anywhere in the city.. because there are so many hooked up civics around here it's gonna be hard to be original but I think i'll find a way to set my car away from others some how.. Oh yea.. these lights I were looking at said something about ION project but with a GOLD beam.. isn't that like the factory color beam or a different one.. I was looking for a blue beam but it didnt have any black housed headlights with a blue beam..

Sup bro, welcome to the Forum. Headlights with blackhousing would look nice on your car. You can get the JDM's or the Black housing headlights w/ Blue Ionized. I myself have Blackhousing projectors...here's what my car looks like...

I just registered and am with you on the whole show aspect. I hate all the hate and rice talk and garbage like that. If I wanted to a car to race I would have got something that can get HP alot cheaper and with less effort than engine swaps and turbos and the like. I am a poor college student and own a civic. I wish I had a prelude so I could worry about the engine but I don't.
