Question How do I Program my alarm remote

After many hours of searching the internet I am beginning to think that this is some sort of secret ritual or unicorn I am trying to find. Please if you know how to program the alarm remote for my vehicle, will you share it with me !!!!!!! My Ex threw my old one against a wall and it broke--- I bought a new one but it didnt come with the instructions and they want an extra 40 bucks to just program it ..... I reject that it costs 40 bucks to program--- I know it would take a couple of seconds--minutes at most. Im a do it your selfer---- your help appreciated. Thanks !

Re: Re: How do I Program my alarm remote

Not sure if it the same for your model year but on my 97 here is how you do it:

1 - Flip the valet/override switch to "on" position.
2 - turn the ignition switch to "on", then "off"
3 - then IMMEDIATELY flip the valet/override switch off, on, off, on, off.
The siren *should* churp one (1) time.
4 - turn the ignition switch on, off, on, off. The siren should churp one (1) time. It is now in "learning mode"
5 - press the button on the remote until the siren responds with a churp. once it has the remote is programmed.
6 - if you have anbother WITHIN 5 SECONDS press the button on the other transmitter until the siren responds with a churp.

Thats it.

hope the same method works for you.
