when stopped but accelerates smoothly. Doesn't do it every time. Just started last week. Any ideas greatly appreciated.

while parked, at idle...will it act up on its own ? If so, monitor the ign. coil negative terminal with a test light....the light should constantly flicker while engine is running right.........if it goes steady at anytime and engine speed decreases, the module,pick-up, crank sensor or ECM may have a problem. If the light continues to flicker even while engine speed is decreasing...look at the rotor and cap.
