but release as I drive the Jeep. Brakes do not drag when I'm backing. Can the caliper be the problem. I jacked the jeep up and the pass side tire does not turn freely. please help

are u saying they grab while stopping then as u begin to move again the release?

Possibility of a collapsed brake hose.

Caliper or Brake Hose.

Id look at the brake hose, I think a warped caliper sounds possible, but a brake hose may be more likely.

check the guides that hold the brake pads in place. the guides develop grooves and notches that prohibit the pads from sliding freely causing them to not release. if there are notches you'll have to grind them down and lube them with grease. they are only guides and don't actually secure the pads so its okay.

sticky caliper, collapsed brake line, or scored guide pins. the guide pins are cheap and easy to just replace...
