skyline 101

hi,

i'm thinking about buying a skyline, but i know sh!t all about them, it's just a car that i've always wanted to drive.

i was wondering is there's an overview of the entire skyline range? gt-s, gt-r, performance figures, drivetrain options (2WD, 4WD, auto, man, etc), engine option (displacement, forced induction, etc) and trim levels.

i've done a google and there's loads of site's out there, but very little useful info. i'm just after the basics. plus a lot of the sites i found seemed to contradict each other quite a bit... especially about what v-spec gives you.

which buyers guides did you use when you bought your skyline? i've read a few and they have not really been skyline specific, they've just covered general things to do when buying any car.

finally, servicing. i've had a look at the gt-s servicing thread and was wondering if there's a database / list of the skyline specialists in the country?

any and all info appreciated.
